My name is Bóinn and I’m the owner of ZLVR Studio. ZLVR Studio began from a growing desire to work more with my hands and create something lasting. I’m originally from the Netherlands and studied Sustainability at the University of Amsterdam, but after graduating I felt drawn toward a more creative path, one that allowed a slower way of making.

After travelling for some time, i moved to Amsterdam and started exploring jewellery making, taking several courses. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion. I enjoyed working with precious metals and shaping raw materials into pieces that people can wear, keep and carry with them through everyday life.

Today, I’m based in Wales, where ZLVR Studio continues to grow. Each piece is handcrafted with precious metals, with emphasis on durability, longevity, and intention. I work primarily with recycled silver, pieces of sea glass, and natural stones, choosing materials that are both sustainable and made to last.

Every piece is made slowly and by hand, which means the process takes time — from shaping and soldering to finishing and polishing. The marks of this process are part of the character of the jewellery. Rather than mass-produced pieces, each design carries small variations that come with craftsmanship.

My aim is to create jewellery that can be worn daily and kept for years to come: pieces that age beautifully , hold meaning, and stay with you over time.
